The following link will allow folks to worship virtually with those who are gathered at Camp Allen for the Annual Meeting of the South Central Conference. This important service will include the formal installation of Rev. Phil Hodson as our Conference Minister.

Rev. Dr. Whit Bodman will be leading our Lenten Book Study on the late Thich Nhat Hanh’s work, Living Buddha, Living Christ, Monday evenings at 7:00pm on Zoom. We’ll begin with an introductory session on Monday night, 3/7 and then pick-up weekly sessions following that schedule.

Dear Members & Friends of the Congregational Church of Austin~ I am delighted to tell you, on behalf of the Deacons, that our sanctuary will be open for in-person worship this Sunday, March 3. As promised, we made this decision based on Austin’s local COVID conditions and safety measures.

An Advent Study on Mary, the mother of God, led by Rev. Dr. Whit Bodman. The study will be held on Monday evenings, Dec. 6, 13 and 20 from 7-8 pm on Zoom. To join the class Zoom meeting, click on the post title above and use the provided link.

Pastor Tom VandeStadt preached his last sermon as minister of the Congregational Church of Austin on February 28, 2021. Sadly for him and for the congregation, it had to be a YouTube service. Members of the congregation made short videos expressing their gratitude and well wishes.

“Overflow the Courtyard” Sunday, Oct. 11 between 2 – 4 pm at University Presbyterian Church 2203 San Antonio Street, just a block south of Austin Congregational. This is a drive-through collection event to support the Micah 6 Food Pantry.

On Tuesday, September 15th, we will convert our usual 7 PM E-Slab Zoom into a Virtual Baby Shower gathering for Faye and Andy Dierksen. We hope you can Zoom in for a bit of celebration so check your busy social calendar now and plan ahead to join.
